Wine appreciation day, otherwise known as Friday🌷🥂

I counted 9 of me, all missing you (everyone) 🖤

harvest; fresh fruit, bright sunshine, and working outside morning to night, common spring! 🍃

It’s this wild girls 2nd birthday (month) and I just want to give a shout out to all of you with rescue dogs 🤍 and all their quirks. I am not the “dogs don’t deserve us” person, or someone who runs up to pet dogs on the street, but I honestly don’t know where I would be in this last year of pandemic if we hadn’t gotten Pinta a year and a half ago. I can’t believe it took me so long to get a dog, maybe it’s because I was always traveling, or maybe it’s because the universe made me wait for her 🖤

At this point 3°C and sunny means wine tasting outside, right?! I’m in our Teroldego vineyard, tasting 2 different years of Teroldego 👀

First year officially making Sparkling wine 🍾 and it’s been such a learning experience!

The Dolomites: part of the “Southern Limestone Alps” spanning 1400km, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a wine making region. The stone is mostly calcium carbonate and magnesium, but what does that mean to me? It means well drained, rich soils for growing grapes, AND incredible skiing. The latter of which is closed and I’m having a hard time fathoming I will not ski this year for the first time since I started 💔 Are you near mountains - are your slopes open?!
